Accessibility

At ZOUMA, we don't treat accessibility as a checkbox — it's part of how we build things. This statement covers zouma.asia and every sub-domain run by ZOUMA Consulting Services, and it reflects our ongoing effort to keep the site and digital products usable for everybody.

Our target is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. It's the benchmark most public-sector buyers and large enterprises expect, and it lines up with the UK's Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018, the EU's Accessibility Act, and Section 508 in the US.

• Clean, semantic HTML — landmarks in place, one H1 per page, nothing cluttered.
• Every interactive element works from a keyboard, with focus states you can actually see.
• Contrast that holds up, and colour choices that don't lean on hue alone to get a point across.
• Meaningful images get alt text; decorative ones are marked so screen readers skip past them.
• Forms with proper labels and error messages that actually tell you what went wrong.
• Tested with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack, and works fine at 200% zoom.
• Layouts that hold together across phone, tablet and desktop.
• We respect prefers-reduced-motion for anyone who needs less movement on screen.

Some third-party tools we embed — analytics scripts, video players — aren't fully there yet on WCAG 2.2 AA. We're working through them. Spot something that isn't working for you? We check the site regularly on current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android — alongside the screen readers and voice-control tools people actually use day to day.
