Apply nowThe Supply Chain Manager owns end-to-end supply chain operations across UK and international (BV) business lines — leading the Supply Chain Executive team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of purchase order and logistics activity, driving planning and forecasting, and acting as the primary point of escalation and reporting for supply chain performance.
Key responsibilities
Team Leadership & Workload Management • Lead and manage the Supply Chain Executive team, allocating workload across order processing, import/domestic tracking, and reporting functions. • Monitor individual and team output against volume and value benchmarks; rebalance workload as needed to manage peaks. • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and support skill development within the team. • Own team capacity planning and support recruitment/onboarding as the team scales. Planning, PO Oversight & Value Management • Own the planning and forecasting cycle across customer accounts, reviewing and approving forecasts submitted by the team. • Oversee purchase order raising activity across UK and BV entities, with particular oversight of high-value or high-risk POs. • Monitor total PO volume and value against targets and prior periods, identifying trends and flagging risks proactively. • Ensure PO accuracy, approving amendments, packing list changes, and delivery date revisions where escalated. Logistics, Import & Vendor Oversight • Oversee import shipment tracking and domestic chase processes, resolving escalated delays with vendors and freight partners. • Own key vendor and customer relationships, including compliance-related engagement (Sedex, customs, fabrics inventory). • Act as the escalation point for shipment delays, order discrepancies, and cross-functional coordination issues (Production, Finance, Sales). • Oversee freight invoice approvals, freight cost sheet accuracy, and customs/commodity code compliance. Reporting, Governance & Process Improvement • Own preparation and accuracy of supply chain performance dashboards and reports (task volume, PO value, team output) for management review. • Ensure timely and accurate MIS reporting, resolving flagged discrepancies across the team's output. • Identify recurring bottlenecks or inefficiencies from task and reporting trends, and drive process/SOP improvements. • Support and coordinate audit and compliance requirements (Sedex, customs, sales contract approvals) across the function. Cross-Functional Coordination • Liaise with Finance on freight invoice approvals, cost sheets, and PO value reconciliation. • Coordinate with Production/DCC teams on order and delivery compliance. • Partner with Sales and Account teams on customer-specific reporting requirements (e.g., client OS reports) and sales contract processing.
