Digital Marketing & Content Lead
Fill in your details and attach your CV. We'll be in touch if your profile matches.
Apply nowTo own Workwear Uniform Group's two most visible digital channels: our website and our social media. Working closely with our UK leadership, you will make sure the website performs, is found by the right buyers and turns visitors into enquiries, and that our social channels tell compelling, authentic stories about our customers and expertise. This is a senior role: you will be trusted to run these channels with a high degree of independence. Alongside the channels, you will write much of our content, from blog articles to case studies, and take day-to-day delivery off the Marketing Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Website management: maintain and update the website through the CMS, keeping content, product information and landing pages accurate and current.
- SEO and site performance: improve site speed, structure and search rankings for our target sectors, and manage domain redirects as legacy brand sites move to the master brand.
- Social strategy and publishing: plan, create and publish content across LinkedIn and other channels, and own the social and content calendar, community engagement and channel growth.
- Paid advertising: plan, run and optimise paid campaigns, including LinkedIn ads to our 50 named target accounts and wider sector audiences, within the agreed budget.
- Content capture and case studies: coordinate customer-site content capture with UK colleagues using shot lists and briefs, and turn footage, photos and interviews into case studies and social content.
- Thought leadership: write and publish LinkedIn content for senior leaders, positioning WWUGL as the authority in workwear, PPE and compliance.
- Content writing: write SEO blog articles, web copy, long-form case studies and whitepapers with the Marketing Operations & Communications Lead, working from interviews, briefs and approved claims.
- Ownership of delivery: plan and deliver website, social and content work independently, bringing only strategic decisions and approvals to the Marketing Manager.
- Sales support: support the NBD, Tenders and Account Management teams day to day, turning contract wins, launches and milestones into timely content and providing web pages, case studies and copy for proposals and tenders.
- Brand guardianship: apply our tone-of-voice guide and brand standards online as DCC and ICW move under the WWUGL master brand.
- Reporting: track and report on website traffic, rankings, social reach and engagement.
- Agency transition: take over website, hosting, social account access and design source files from the current marketing agency, and manage any web developers on specific projects.
