Key responsibilities

  • SEO and organic growth
  • Develop and run an ongoing SEO strategy aligned with priority services, target customers and lead generation.
  • Research keywords, search intent and competitors to identify realistic ranking, traffic and enquiry opportunities.
  • Optimise website content, landing pages, page titles, metadata, headings and internal links.
  • Identify technical SEO issues affecting crawling, indexing and user experience; coordinate fixes with suppliers and developers, then verify the results.
  • Monitor rankings, organic traffic and conversions, and develop useful content ideas that support SEO and lead generation.
  • Google Analytics 4 and reporting
  • Manage and monitor GA4 to track website traffic, acquisition channels, user behaviour, engagement, conversions and leads.
  • Build clear reports and dashboards on marketing performance; explain trends and turn findings into practical recommendations.
  • Ensure analytics and conversion tracking are set up correctly. Document the measurement plan, event definitions, campaign naming and UTM conventions.
  • Work with developers or tagging specialists to configure and test relevant events and GA4 key events, including completed quote or enquiry submissions. Use recommended events such as generate_lead where appropriate.
  • Track phone and email clicks separately from completed enquiries and qualified leads; validate actual lead outcomes with sales or CRM records where available.
  • Check for duplicate events, missing tags and reporting discrepancies. Explain attribution and data limitations when presenting results.
  • Use GA4 reports and explorations to understand landing-page performance and enquiry journeys, then recommend measurable improvements.
  • Wider marketing and creative support
  • Support campaigns from planning through reporting across email, social media, content and website updates.
  • Create or help produce social graphics, presentations and marketing materials that follow the approved brand direction.
  • Work with external agencies, suppliers and partners; provide clear briefs, coordinate delivery and review the work.
  • Manage priorities independently, keep stakeholders informed and take ownership of projects through completion.
